2022 EBN Congress | Transition Towards 2030

25-25 MAY 2022 | Square – Brussels Convention Centre

TEESMAT at the 2022 EBN Congress

Powered by the EU|BIC community, the 2022 EBN Congress will gather business incubation executives, corporate leaders, senior-level government officials, and innovation experts – in person – in Brussels.

Ennio Capria from ESRF – The European Synchrotron will represent the TEESMAT community taking part as a speaker for the panel ‘Based on science, built for the market: Creating impact out of research‘.

For the innovation community and their benefits for society to grow, the capacity of Europe’s ecosystems in stimulating market uptake of innovative, groundbreaking techniques coming from academia and science will be its litmus test.

From lab to market | Deep tech venture’s innovation addresses big problems and contributes to addressing big issues such as the Sustainability Development Goals – from Good health & wellbeing, and Industry, innovation & infrastructure, to Climate action, Sustainable cities and communities, and Responsible consumption & production.

Despite all its potential, there are still multiple challenges to the growth of deep tech. Three challenges stand out, impacting all stakeholders:

The ecosystem’s capacity in stimulating market uptake of groundbreaking techniques coming from academia and science will be the litmus test for the European innovation community and its benefits to society. Can we keep up with radical change?

TEESMAT will have a booth space to present the capabilities of the TEESMAT platform.
